What is Establishment Card

An establishment card, also known as a company immigration card, is an official registration document from the UAE immigration authority that authorizes a company to sponsor employees and conduct immigration-related activities in Dubai. It is required for obtaining work permits and resident visas for employees, connecting utilities like water and electricity, and for general proof of legal business operation. 

What an establishment card is

  • Company identification: It is a plastic card containing the company's name, card number, and expiry date.

  • Official registration: It serves as proof that the company is officially registered with the UAE's immigration authority.

  • Authorization to sponsor: It legalizes the company's ability to hire and sponsor foreign employees.
